Got old electronics? You can recycle them at upcoming drop-off in North Syracuse

North Syracuse, N.Y. — Assemblyman Al Stirpe and Sunnking, an electronics recycling company, will hold a free electronics drop-off event in North Syracuse on Saturday, Nov. 9.
The event is in the DMV parking lot from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 5801 East Taft Road.
Computers, rechargeable batteries and fax machines are on the list of acceptable items. Vaping devices and large appliances like stoves will not be taken. Check the list before registering to see if your items are recyclable.
Registration and a drop off time is required for the event. You can reserve a spot here.
If you don’t see an event confirmation email in your inbox, it’s recommended to check your spam folder. Several openings are still available, but the event will close once the appointment times are all full.
The Onondaga County Resource Recovery Agency has partners across the Central New York who also accept electronics year-round for individuals who cannot make the vent. Drop-off locations can be viewed here.
